International Bipolar Foundation / San Diego, CA
Objective
Create a clear, compassionate brand experience that supports International Bipolar Foundation’s mission to educate, advocate for, and empower people living with bipolar disorder and their caregivers.
-
From 2014-2020, we worked alongside IBPF through two brand evolutions, helping translate its identity into a cohesive range of educational, fundraising, and community-facing materials.
During the 2019–2020 rebrand, the organization was ready to move from a more playful visual style to one that felt warmer, more refined, and more aligned with the seriousness and humanity of its mission. The content also needed greater clarity and focus for the people it serves.
-
We helped shape the new brand expression through art direction, publication design, and graphic support, establishing a more thoughtful visual language centered on comfort, care, and credibility.
The 2019 Annual Impact Report and San Diego Resource Guide helped define the direction for the broader brand refresh, which was then carried into the redesigned website and supporting communications. While we did not create the logo or develop the website, we helped ensure the brand translated consistently across its most important materials.
