International Bipolar Foundation (IBPF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals living with bipolar disorder and their caregiver by providing advocacy, education, support and awareness – fostering a caring community and stigma-free world where mental health is equitably acknowledged and treated.

Since 2014 (and through two of their rebrands), we’ve been working alongside IBPF to build a cohesive brand identity for all their needs. The 2014 rebrand was already in progress when we were brought on board. Our purpose was to create, enhance, and apply that brand style to all their materials used for generating donations, and providing education and resources to bipolar disorder patients and their caregivers.

  • Annual Impact Reports

  • San Diego Resource Guide for Bipolar Disorder

  • Art Direction & Graphics for Website ReDesign

  • Event Invitations & Signage

  • Business Stationery Suite

  • Information Brochures

In the latest rebrand (2019-2020), IBPF’s desire was to elevate the brand style from the playful previous style to a sophisticated yet warm one. Plus the content was designed to be more concise and clearer for their target market. The brand overhaul required a complete redesign of the website based off the design style of the 2019 Annual Impact Report and 2019 San Diego Resource Guide we designed (we did not develop the logo nor the website but provided art direction and graphic support). The branding is now warmer, evoking emotions of comfort, care, and support – and overall their vision and mission are more defined.
